You can see number of such advertisements in everyday newspapers. Some reports have revealed that prostitution rackets run behind such advertisements. The surprising thing is that it happens when police are well aware of such rackets.

I really am amused that the newspapers, inspite of knowing about these rackets, print the ads. But I guess, they are also not to be blamed. They cannot go searching about the authenticity of every company which approaches them!

BTW - many online personals sites are of similar moral fibre to these friendship clubs... - you too can be freed of your loneliness if only you will free yourself of US$39.95 monthly and if you don’t mind the barrage of Russian scammers and the impressively large number of African women who are related to deceased formerly wealthy and powerful statesmen who now require your bank details to deposit inordinately large sums into your bank account without even knowing you...

Yes, under the name of friendships, hotlines and spa and massage clubs, sooner than you think they might even rope in business and real estate companies for all one cares or knows. The root of such problems should be investigated, undercover officers should really visit these places as potential clients and rescue or punish, whichever is needed.

Such sex rackets are just the tip of an iceberg. These so-called friendship clubs and massage parlours are in fact the den of flesh and vice. Behind the close doors of these centers only grainy activities take place. Interestingly, not many are aware that these police raids are just farce as well. The culprits whom police nab get the bail and they return to their business with more aplomb.

I agree with both Parul and Somya. I knew that these clubs were not trustworthy. I mean I had seen some ads on TV and didn’t quite find them ”friendly”. Lets just see how many people go on duping others and how many willingly get duped!

Again, answer to this is properly educating people about this. Govt must take action against it but at the same time they must also warn people.

Friendship clubs, i wont say all of’em, are the centers where a single communication ends up in an upsurge of illicit sexual relations. These are the hot beds of lust, fraud and traumatic exposure to willing carnal and fleshy consequences.
